I was born in Milan in 1986.
I first approached professional photography in 2007, when I started working as a studio and on-location assistant for Cesare Chimenti, a photographer specializing in products and furniture.
I soon began receiving my first assignments: a catalogue for the Carlo Verri Museum, a reportage for a small theatre company, catwalks, and lookbooks and tests for actors and models.
After three years, I enrolled at the John Kaverdash Academy in Milan, while continuing to work as a photographer and assistant.
Soon after graduating, I was offered the opportunity to join Face and Place, a leading production, location and casting agency in Milan. Under the guidance of Chiara Brambilla, I worked as key interior photographer, location scout and junior location manager, contributing to high-profile advertising campaigns, TV series, films and photographic productions.

Working at the agency taught me to adapt to very different environments, people and workflows, and helped me develop a strong problem-solving attitude.
It was an intense and beautiful experience, which I still remember fondly.
After 18 months of intense collaboration, in May 2013 I left the agency to start my own business as a freelance photographer, specializing in architecture, interiors, products and food.
I predominantly work with architecture studios, interior designers, product designers, chefs and restaurants.
My passion for sharing knowledge led me, in 2015, to organize photography and post-production lessons for Upwork, an online freelancing platform, hosted at the beautiful Spazio Copernico in Milan.
Since February 2017, I have been a contributing photographer and editor for CIBI Expo, a print and online magazine dedicated to the art and science of food and cooking.
Then I started making video works - and my life changed completely.
Creating videos brought together photography and music, colour and rhythm: a connection I had been searching for years.
It opened up a whole new world of possibilities and gave me a different way of looking at people, telling stories, crafting images.
I am especially grateful and proud to have been entrusted with the creation of a number of documentaries, including a series exploring life inside several prisons in Lombardy. The project kept me busy for almost six years, and certainly changed me as a man.
After almost twenty years, and with a young child now calling me Daddy, I can say with a smile that I am still evolving, just as everything around us is constantly changing.
I keep learning, experimenting and looking for fresh new ways to tell stories through photography and film.
I feel lucky to work with clients I deeply respect and to take part in projects that I am genuinely proud of, some of which aim to help people, and hopefully one day will.
